Well, my friend needs to change her account password. It directs her to the PlayNC site, which I understand. She has made a PlayNC account, but having troubles adding her Guild Wars to the account. Tried putting in the serial codes but they are "Invalid Code".

Now, with mine, I couldn't even put the codes in because I forgot them. Somehow though, my GW account was mysteriously linked to my PlayNC account. If anyone knows about how to link it without a code, then please tell me how. She needs to change her password before she goes to bed tonight, so please help.

My only guess is you didn't select that it is a Guild Wars code...normal codes (for other games) are 20 digits long...Guild Wars Codes are 25 digits long...entering a guild wars code into a normal dialog box would return and invalid code error...

After logging into your PlayNC account (via www.plaync.com) click on the "Use A Serial Code" link on the left. You are then presented with 3 options..."standard PlayNC Code", "A Guild Wars Key" and "I'm Not Sure"...you have to make sure to select the second option "A Guild Wars Key"

After following those directions...if you still get an error...I'd say you're going to need to contact support.

PlayNC has to have the worst customer service ever. Two days spent trying to change a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing password. Some hacker has access to her account, and can come and delete her chars, take some more stuff, anything they want. Customer Service obviously doesn't care. They won't reply to an email we have been awake for over 24 hours so that he can't log on the account. Customer Service doesn't even bother giving a damn.

the easiest way to add your GW account to Plaync (and how i did it) was by using the ingame store

all you need to do is go into the store and register your account
